InnovAge, a provider of senior care through the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), and Tampa General Hospital (TGH) have formed a joint venture to expand access to PACE in Florida's Tampa Bay region.
This move is aimed at delivering coordinated health services to ailing seniors across Hillsborough, Pasco and Hernando counties in Florida.
Via this partnership, InnovAge and TGH aim to support seniors in maintaining independent living at home by providing comprehensive in-home, medical, and social assistance, including for those who are dual eligible under Medicare and Medicaid, at minimal or no cost.
InnovAge founder and CEO Patrick Blair said: “Our integrated model brings peace of mind to participants and their families and reduces the burden on state and federal partners.
“Through our partnership with Tampa General Hospital, we’re expanding access to the gold standard of coordinated, community‐based care, helping more seniors live with health, purpose and dignity.”
PACE is a comprehensive care model designed to help older adults remain safely independent in their own homes by providing a full range of health and support services.
It coordinates medical, dental, therapy, and social services, and also arranges transportation and in-home assistance.
Tampa General Hospital president and CEO John Couris said: “At TGH, we believe that every senior in our community deserves access to high-quality, compassionate care — regardless of their circumstances.
“Our partnership with InnovAge reflects our continued work to break down barriers and bring comprehensive, coordinated healthcare directly to those who need it most. Together, we are committed to ensuring that our seniors receive the respect, dignity and care they deserve.”
As of 30 September 2025, InnovAge served approximately 7,890 participants across 20 centres in six US states.
Tampa General Hospital is a 1,529-bed, not-for-profit health system.
In June 2025, Tampa General Hospital launched Microsoft’s ambient listening technology for nurses, which was integrated into Epic’s Rover mobile application.
