RestorixHealth has acquired CūtisCare for establishing a partner for wound centre management services.
CūtisCare provides multi-place hyperbaric medicine and hospital-based services.
The new organisation will combine CūtisCare's specialised hyperbaric medicine services with RestorixHealth’s operational, clinical and financial expertise to expand its capabilities.
The partnership will also enabling RestorixHealth to better support its hospital partners with expertise in both multi-place and mono-place hyperbaric medicine.
Additionally, through collaboration with research institutions, the company will be able to continue investment in tested clinical protocols.
RestorixHealth CEO Ben Dunford said: “Integrating CūtisCare and RestorixHealth’s hospital-based services positions us as the leading solution for partners of all sizes across all communities, with expertise spanning from rural hospitals to healthcare systems and teaching hospitals.
“We are excited to grow with each of our centres and hospital partners and further expand our reach to get more patients the care they need for their hard-to-heal wounds.”
The transaction excludes CūtisCare’s division RegenQuest, which is focused on office-based wound healing and hyperbaric programmes. It will continue operations as a separate entity.
RestorixHealth chief medical officer Dr William Tettelbach said: “This arrangement brings unmatched leadership and clinical expertise, empowering our healthcare partners and frontline providers to deliver safer, more effective, evidence-based patient care that improves healing and helps prevent amputations.”
By uniting with CūtisCare’s academic medical centres, hospitals and hospital systems including partners such as UC San Diego Health, UCLA Medical Center and Yale New Haven Health, RestorixHealth will expand its presence to around 300 partners in 41 states.
In April 2024, RestorixHealth and Accurate Healthcare announced a strategic arrangement to create a service provider for the skilled nursing industry.
