The Outpatient Neurology Programme by TeleSpecialists aims to solve this crisis by eliminating prolonged wait times and ensuring smooth transitions of care from inpatient to outpatient settings.
The service functions through a hybrid model that integrates onsite advanced practice providers with TeleSpecialists' board-certified neurologists via the company's proprietary AI-enhanced telemedicine platform.
This strategy converts disjointed follow-up care into a coordinated and accessible programme after discharge.
Initial clinical outcomes at one partner facility demonstrated an 83% reduction in specialist wait times, improving access from six months to thirty days, irrespective of geographic location or the availability of local neurologists, stated TeleSpecialists.
