Encompass Health has announced preliminary plans for the construction of a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital with 50 beds in St. George, Utah, US.
The freestanding facility is designed to cater to patients recovering from serious health issues and injuries.
These encompass neurological disorders, brain and spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputations, as well as intricate orthopaedic conditions.
The hospital will provide specialised care, including 24-hour nursing and a range of therapies such as occupational and speech treatments aimed at restoring functional ability.
Nurses, therapists and physicians will be available at the hospital to provide care.
The proposed facility will offer private patient rooms, a therapy gym equipped with rehabilitation technologies, and an activities of daily living suite.
