Health and wellness services provider HealthQuarters has entered into a multi-year, multi-location collaboration with Mount Sinai Health System to offer healthcare services at its locations.
Initially, the partners will open a new centre in New York City’s NoHo neighborhood.
Mount Sinai Health System operates eight hospitals and a network of ambulatory practices across the greater New York region. The system has more than 7,200 physicians who offer multispecialty services.
The partnership is expected to boost access to Mount Sinai experts.
HealthQuarters CEO and co-founder Bhavdeep Singh said: “HealthQuarters and Mount Sinai Health System alike are aiming to tap into trends showing that patients are looking to make health a more seamless part of their daily lives.
“We were drawn to Mount Sinai because of its remarkable level of clinical excellence, its vast array of resources dedicated to providing better health outcomes and patient experiences, and its forward-thinking approach to serving communities.”
At HealthQuarters’ locations, Mount Sinai physicians will provide a variety of medical specialties such as primary care, gynecology and dermatology.
In addition, HealthQuarters will appoint independent practitioners, including acupuncturists, nutritionists and dentists, to deliver additional services.
Mount Sinai Health System Ambulatory Operations senior vice-president Kelly Cassano said: “While Mount Sinai’s ambulatory footprint is one of the largest in the city, the collaboration with HealthQuarters extends Mount Sinai’s reach.
“The collaboration facilitates an experience that is rooted in clinical foundations and aligned with how people approach their health today.”
Earlier this month, Mount Sinai Health System expanded its partnership with Artifact Health to deploy the latter’s mobile physician query solution across its hospitals in the US.
