US healthcare system The Guthrie Clinic has partnered with HTC Global Services, an information technology (IT) and business process solutions provider, to implement its digital transformation initiatives.

The partnership will see HTC Global Services upgrading Guthrie’s IT infrastructure, integrating data and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and advancing workplace digital transformation services to align with Guthrie’s strategic business and IT goals.

Under this multi-year alliance, HTC will also set up a local IT service delivery centre.

This centre aims to recruit and train local talent, working in conjunction with Guthrie’s team to boost operational efficiencies.

The IT service delivery centre, which will also cater to other prominent healthcare systems in the US, is expected to be operational from mid-March 2024 at Guthrie’s facilities in Sayre, Pennsylvania.

The centre will initially have a team of over 20 members, with plans to double its capacity within six months.
