Penn Highlands Healthcare in the US is set to unveil its latest hospital, Penn Highlands State College, in Centre County, opening in the summer of 20224.
The healthcare provider has announced an Open House event on 15 June, inviting the community to explore the new hospital and its adjoining medical office building from 10:00AM to 1:00PM.

In May 2022, Penn Highlands Healthcare announced the commencement of construction on the $70m hospital and medical office building in State College.
The new facility will have an emergency department equipped with ten private treatment rooms and a dedicated trauma room, ensuring swift and specialised care.
In addition, the hospital will house an advanced surgical department with three advanced operating suites, alongside an endoscopy procedure room, and 18 modern private inpatient rooms.
The medical imaging department will further enhance the hospital’s capabilities.

By GlobalDataThe Penn Highlands State College Medical Office Building will feature the Penn Highlands Hahne Cancer Center, offering the latest technology and a personalised approach to cancer care.
It will provide oncologists service, advanced medical oncology and infusion services, radiation services, and a linear accelerator for precise treatments.
The building will also house family medicine and speciality care physicians, gynaecological services, women’s medical imaging, and pulmonology services.
In addition, the facility will extend its services to include cardiology, walk-in laboratory services, a QCare walk-in clinic, and a retail pharmacy with a convenient drive-thru service.
During the Open House, visitors will have the opportunity to embark on self-guided tours of the premises, partake in family-oriented games and activities, and enjoy refreshments.
